I am proud of you – Sam George lauds Afronita, Abigail on BGT performance

The Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, Samuel Nartey George, has commended Ghanaian dancers Afronitaaa and Abigail for their exceptional performances on the renowned UK talent show, Britain’s Got Talent.

Sam George expressed his gratitude to God for the swift rise of Abigail and Afronitaaa to global fame. Reflecting on Abigail’s victorious journey on Talented Kidz in 2023 and her hard work to achieve international recognition, he emphasized that their success on Britain’s Got Talent signals the beginning of many more achievements in their dance careers.

Adorned in vibrant yellow shirts and black pants with Kente accents, Afronitaaa proudly held the Ghana flag and introduced the duo, sharing Abigail’s inspiring story as a hearing-impaired girl with a passion for dance. The judges and audience were captivated by their performance to Fuse ODG’s “Azonto” song and its remix, as well as Fuse’s “Dangerous Love,” featuring Sean Paul.

The duo received a standing ovation from the entire auditorium, including the judges and audience, with special praise from Afronitaaa’s aunt and Abigail’s mother. Judges Simon, Amanda, Alesha, and Bruno all offered unanimous praise for their performance.

Celebrities and public figures have also lauded the duo for their stunning showcase of Ghana on the international stage. Afronitaaa and Abigail have made Ghana proud with their talent and dedication.
