Ghanaian musician AY Poyoo, also known as Emmanuel Yeboah, has recently revealed that his former manager deleted his songs from certain streaming platforms. In an interview with Doreen Avio on Daybreak Hitz, AY Poyoo shared that he has been unable to reach out to his manager as he has been blocked.
Explaining the situation, AY Poyoo mentioned that his manager had personal goals that he wanted to pursue, and having AY Poyoo as an artist was proving to be a distraction. He clarified that there are no hard feelings towards his former manager as it was purely a work-related issue.
Furthermore, AY Poyoo highlighted that his decision to go public with this issue is to educate young and upcoming artists about the importance of understanding contracts before signing them. He admitted that he signed the contract presented to him without reading it thoroughly due to excitement.
Despite the setback, AY Poyoo emphasized that he is now focusing on building himself and his career. He also expressed regret about the situation and mentioned that the songs that were taken down were meant for a futuristic investment, regardless of any negative comments he may have made.
