Rev. Eastwood Anaba of Fountain Gate Chapel has issued a stern warning to Christians about the dangers of prioritizing social media over studying the Bible. He expressed concern over the increasing trend of individuals spending more time on social media platforms, chasing after the latest trends, rather than focusing on their spiritual growth.
According to Rev. Anaba, this shift in priorities can have a negative impact on one’s spiritual connection with God. He emphasized the importance of immersing oneself in the teachings of the Bible to strengthen faith, rather than getting caught up in the distractions of social media.
The reverend highlighted how the influence of social media can lead some individuals to live as if they will not be held accountable in the afterlife. He challenged his congregation to reflect on their habits and ask themselves when was the last time they spent an hour reading the Bible.
In a bold call to action, Rev. Anaba called for repentance and revival in the church. He urged the church to turn away from worldly pleasures and refocus on aligning their lives with God’s will, reminding them of the inevitability of judgement after death.
