Rapper Chris Brown and Quavo, two former friends and collaborators, found themselves in the midst of a feud that started in 2017 and has yet to be resolved.
The tension between the two artists began when rumors surfaced that Quavo was dating Karreuche Tran, Brown’s ex-girlfriend. Despite neither Quavo nor Tran confirming the dating rumors at the time, Brown reportedly felt betrayed by Quavo, whom he considered a good friend.
The situation escalated when Tran filed a restraining order against Brown, leading him to believe that she did so in order to freely date Quavo. Reports emerged of a physical altercation between Brown and Quavo’s entourages backstage at the BET Awards, further fueling the feud.
Although the dating rumors between Quavo and Tran fizzled out, and she later began dating Victor Cruz, the two artists recently reignited their beef. Brown released a track on his deluxe album dissing Quavo, prompting the former Migos member to respond with his own diss track titled “Tender.”
In response, Brown released another track titled “Weakest Link,” including more disses directed at Quavo and insinuating that he was involved with Quavo’s ex-girlfriend, Saweetie.
The feud between the two continues to play out in the music industry, with fans eagerly awaiting the next development in their ongoing rivalry.
