Popular actress Christina Hendricks recently tied the knot with her long-time partner, camera operator and cinematographer George Bianchini.
The couple exchanged vows at a beautiful ceremony in Napoleon House, which was officiated by Shirley Manson, lead singer of the rock band Garbage.
George Bianchini, like his new wife, is also in the film industry but works behind the scenes as a steadicam operator. He has an impressive list of credits to his name, including work on TV shows like The Good Wife, The Blacklist, and The Mindy Project, as well as films such as PS I Love You and Sinister.
The couple met on the set of the NBC series Good Girls, with Hendricks playing the lead role and Bianchini working as a camera operator.
They reportedly started dating in 2020 and got engaged in March 2023. In a unique twist, they both proposed to each other and said yes, leading to their beautiful wedding in New Orleans in April 2024.
Hendricks was previously married to Geoffrey Arend, but the couple split in 2019 after a decade of marriage. They announced their separation in a joint statement on Instagram, emphasizing their continued friendship and commitment to co-parenting their two dogs.
Despite not having children together, Hendricks has been open about her love for animals and her decision not to have children.
She once said in an interview, “We got a puppy, and that’s my idea of starting a family. People say, ‘Oh, that’s practice for parenting,’ but if it’s practice for anything, it’s to be a mom to another puppy. We’ve decided that we are not really interested in having children.”
Hendricks and Bianchini’s wedding was attended by close friends and family, including celebrities like Matt Weiner and Christian Siriano.
