Renowned Ghanaian actor Akwasi Boadi, popularly known as Akrobeto, stole the show and brought laughter to the audience, including the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, during the inauguration of the Jubilee Hall at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.
Akrobeto’s comedic talent was on full display as he took the stage to praise the Asantehene for the impressive project. His humorous remarks and entertaining delivery left the crowd in stitches.
In his speech, Akrobeto applauded Otumfuo’s leadership and the construction of the magnificent hall, which can accommodate up to 7,000 people.
He humorously highlighted the global influence of Otumfuo, noting that when he speaks, the world listens. Even former President Kufuor sought Otumfuo’s counsel during his reign, acknowledging the Asantehene’s significance.
The inauguration of the 7,000-capacity Jubilee Hall is just one of the many projects spearheaded by the Manhyia Palace in preparation for the upcoming 25th anniversary celebration of Otumfuo’s reign.
