Henry Amponsah, also known as Henry Fitz, has recently been making waves on social media after sharing a series of posts in response to a court summons issued by the state.
The businessman, who is allegedly the former lover of GHone journalist Serwaa Amihere, took to SnapChat to make some shocking revelations.
In his posts, Henry claimed that his wife never went easy on him after finding out about his infidelity with Serwaa, which occurred a day before their wedding. He stated that his extramarital affair with Serwaa almost led to the end of his marriage.
“You trying so hard to look clean but what’s clean about being present at my wedding. And f***ing me the next day? Don’t you think I’ve not already taken a backlash from my wife on that? The wages of sin is death, you and I should both be thankful to God we are not dead,” one of Henry’s posts read.
He went on to allege that Serwaa viewed him as a source of wealth and exploited him for personal gain. The screenshots shared on social media have caused quite a stir online.
Henry, along with two others, has been summoned to court by the Republic over allegations of non-consensual sharing of intimate images. This legal action is in response to a video that circulated online last week, depicting Serwaa Amihere and Henry Fitz in an intimate setting.
This case involves Serwaa Amihere as the complainant, filmmaker Edem Saviour Ketti, and trader Candylove Kwakyewaa Ababio as the accused parties. Henry Amponsah, also known as Henry Fitz, is currently evading authorities.
The accusations stem from incidents in December 2023 when Serwaa’s makeup artist received extortion demands for GHC5,000 in exchange for nude images of the journalist. Further demands of GHC20,000 were made under the threat of posting the images online. One of the accused individuals, Edem Saviour Ketti, was arrested in April 2024 for his involvement in the extortion scheme.
Efforts are ongoing to locate Henry Amponsah, aka Henry Fitz, to ensure he faces the legal consequences of his actions.
