Former Asante Kotoko CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah appointed president of FC Petrocub Hîncesti
The former Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah, has been appointed as the president of FC Petrocub Hîncesti in Moldova’s top-flight league.
This move comes after the Moldovan club signed a partnership with an unnamed company, which not only promises financial benefits but also brings in a promising football administrator into its leadership.
As per the terms of the agreement, Nana Yaw Amponsah is now the new president of FC Petrocub. This partnership signifies a potential turning point in the club’s history, with transformative developments on the horizon.
FC Petrocub announced Nana Yaw Amponsah’s appointment as its new president via its official social media channels.
“FC Petrocub has entered into a partnership agreement with an investment company from overseas. As part of this agreement, Nana Yaw Amponsah has been appointed as the president of the team,” the statement read.
Nana Yaw Amponsah’s tenure with Asante Kotoko came to an end last year, after joining the club in 2020. During his time in office, he led the team to win one Ghana Premier League title.
