A source close to the situation revealed, “Bond is Aaron’s job, should he wish to accept it. The formal offer is on the table, and they are waiting to hear back. As far as Eon is concerned, Aaron is going to sign his contract in the coming days, and they can start preparing for the big announcement.”
Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s rise to stardom began with his role in the John Lennon biopic, Nowhere Boy, where he not only showcased his acting skills but also found love as he met his future wife, Sam Taylor-Johnson. The actor has also starred in a number of Hollywood blockbusters, including the Kick-Ass series and Avengers: Age of Ultron.

However, it was clarified that producer Barbara Broccoli is adamant about the character of James Bond being portrayed by a male actor, ruling out the possibility of a female Bond in the near future.
