Outspoken Ghanaian media personality, Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, popularly known as Afia Schwarzenegger, has advised the wife of late Deputy Finance Minister John Kumah, Lilian Kumah, to focus on mourning her husband and avoid making public statements.
Afia Schwarzenegger stressed the importance of taking time for quiet reflection and honoring the memory of the deceased. She cautioned against engaging with the media or getting involved in contentious issues before John Kumah’s burial.
The media personality warned Lilian Kumah against succumbing to political pressures to speak publicly, as it could potentially stir up controversy. She encouraged Lilian to seek solace and guidance from her faith during this difficult time.
During a TikTok live session, Afia Schwarzenegger expressed concern over Lilian Kumah’s recent interview with Accra-based Asaase Radio, where she addressed criticisms surrounding her husband’s death and questioned a prophetic prediction.
It was revealed through an autopsy report that John Kumah’s passing was not a result of poisoning, but rather a result of a long-term illness. The 45-year-old deputy minister was well-known for his entrepreneurial endeavors, preaching, and legal expertise within the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
John Kumah’s sudden death on March 7, 2024, has left a void in both the political and personal realms. He is survived by his wife, Apostle Mrs. Lilian Kumah, and their six children.
