Ghanaian rapper, Kwame Yogot, formerly known as Kenneth Kyeremateng, has dismissed any notion that leaving his previous record label, Sky Entertainment, has had a negative impact on his career.
Yogot has vehemently rejected the claim that he is on a downward spiral since departing from Sky Entertainment, calling those who hold this belief completely ignorant.
The ‘Biribi besi’ hitmaker stated, “Anyone who says leaving Sky Entertainment has affected me might not know music that well because Sky Entertainment never made Kwame Yogot.
“It’s a fact and people should get their facts straight that everyone knew Kwame Yogot because I had most of my songs before they came in.
“The only hit song I made at Sky Entertainment was Biibi Besi and apart from that, which song of mine became a hit after Biibi Besi? Anyone who says I’ve become stagnant and my career has faded doesn’t know what they’re saying. Instead, it’s Sky Entertainment who has lost a precious talent,” he fired back at his critics.
Kwame Yogot has made headlines recently for accusing Amerado of song theft and other issues related to his time with the record label.
