Former President John Mahama has confirmed that Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang will be his presidential running mate for the upcoming general elections on the NDC ticket.

Sources from JoyNews revealed that other potential candidates for the position included former Chief of Staff Julius Debrah, former Kumasi Mayor Kojo Bonsu, NDC MP for Korle Klottey constituency Zanetor Agyemang-Rawlings, and Prof Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang. However, it has been confirmed that Mahama will nominate Prof Opoku-Agyemang to run alongside him in the 2024 elections.
