Thousands of Coinbase users have reported issues with the online platform as of February 28, 2024. Now, users of the cryptocurrency exchange company are left wondering about the details behind the outage.

On February 28, 2024, numerous users began experiencing problems and were unable to view their balances on their Coinbase accounts. Customers have been voicing their concerns on Downdetector, reporting issues with the digital trading platform since around noon.

According to Downdetector, 75 percent of affected users are facing problems with the app, 22 percent are encountering issues with the website, and three percent are struggling with transfers. The U.S. Sun has reached out to Coinbase for a statement.

Coinbase Support’s X account took to social media to address the ongoing problems and inform users on how to check the trading company’s status. “We are aware that some users may see a zero balance across their Coinbase accounts & may experience errors in buying or selling,” the tweet read. “Our team is investigating this & will provide an update shortly. Your assets are safe.”
