Who was Jennifer Ramsaran?
Born on April 8, 1976, Jennifer grew up in upstate New York and later met her husband, Ganesh Ramsaran, at Arizona State University. After getting married and settling down near New Berlin, New York, Jennifer devoted herself to being a stay-at-home mother to their three children while her husband worked as an engineer at IBM.
She also had various community involvements, such as teaching Sunday School, being a Girl Scout troop leader, and teaching knitting classes.
The disappearance and murder of Jennifer Ramsaran will be subject to an upcoming Dateline episode airing on February 16, 2024. Her husband, Ganesh Ramsaran, was convicted of her murder and sentenced to 25 years to
life in prison. He later pleaded guilty to manslaughter and was resentenced to 22 years in prison.
Her death remained a mystery until her body was discovered in an uninhabited area in February 2013.
