Raymond Strahan, Golyar’s ex-boyfriend, recently spoke out about his relationship with her and his time with the convicted killer.
Raymond met the killer in 1997 while they both worked together at a plastic factory in Michigan. Despite the warnings from his family, he continued his relationship with Golyar, despite recognizing several red flags including her need for constant attention.
Golyar revealed to Raymond in 1998 that she was pregnant, claiming he was the father. However, Strahan was not certain if he was the father and later discovered that she was also involved with another man, Glenn Herr. Despite the rocky start of Cody’s life, and his suspicions about his paternity, Strahan vowed to be there for Cody.
After Cody was rushed to the hospital in an unresponsive state and later declared brain-dead, authorities discovered that the cause of death was shaken baby syndrome (SBS).
