It’s no secret that politicians often engage in heated debates and verbal sparring on public platforms.
However, behind the scenes, many of these politicians share a cordial relationship, despite their differing political affiliations.
This was evident in a recent encounter between Minority Leader, Ato Forson, and Deputy Majority Leader, Alexdander Afenyo Markin, who were seen having dinner together shortly after a heated agreement on the floor of Parliament.
In a similar display of camaraderie, former CPP General Secretary, Nana Yaa Jantuah, and Movement for Change’s Ebo Buckman were spotted dancing to Amerado’s Kweku Ananse song following a debate on the Epa Hoa Daben show at Happy 98.9 FM studios.
The two individuals, with differing political ideologies, demonstrated that they could put aside their differences and enjoy each other’s company.
This serves as a reminder to the youth to desist from political violence and to understand that political differences do not necessarily translate to personal animosity.
While it may seem like politicians are enemies in the public eye, the reality is often quite different, as demonstrated by these instances of unity and mutual respect.
