Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong, and the Member of Parliament for Bortianor-Ngleshie Amanfro Constituency have settled their differences after a near altercation on the floor of Parliament.
This comes after a dispute over unpaid debts that almost led to a physical confrontation. The volatile situation was diffused by Afenyo Markin, who removed Sylvester Tetteh from the floor of Parliament in an effort to prevent further escalation.

Videos that are currently circulating show the two MPs resolving their dispute and putting their grievances to rest.
In addition to this, Kennedy Agyapong is planning to have a reconciliation breakfast with other Members of Parliament with whom he has had issues, particularly during the internal elections of the New Patriotic Party.

This reconciliation is a positive step towards fostering unity and cooperation within the NPP. It demonstrates a willingness to address and resolve internal conflicts constructively.
Ultimately, MPS need to set a good example of conflict resolution and cooperation for the benefit of the Ghanaian people. We hope that this reconciliation sets a positive precedent for future interactions among members of Parliament.
