Tragedy struck the Amasaman-Nsawam road in the Greater Accra Region on Monday when a tanker crashed into a trotro vehicle, resulting in the death of seven out of the 10 passengers onboard.
The eyewitness, Alex Ahenkorah, recounted how the tanker driver failed to apply the brakes and collided with the commercial vehicle after the latter slowed down near a construction zone.

Bystanders were able to extract the victims from the wrecked vehicle, but unfortunately, most of them did not survive the impact.
