Founder of Arsenal Fan TV (AFTV), Robbie Lyle, has expressed his hope to see Thomas Partey back on the pitch for Arsenal soon. According to him, Partey is a fan favorite at the club, and his absence has been felt this season.
The Ghana international has only played four games for Arsenal this season, missing out on a significant number of fixtures. He has been on the sidelines since October, following his involvement in friendlies with the Black Stars against Mexico and the United States of America.
Lyle believes that Partey’s absence has had a major impact on Arsenal’s performance this season. He stated, “[His absence has affected Arsenal] big time. Last year, you could argue that he was one of our best players. He is such a good player. If we had him along with Declan Rice in that midfield, I think we would probably be higher in the league.”
Expressing sympathy for Partey, Lyle added, “No player wants to be injured. He wants to play and we love him in England. The fans absolutely love Thomas Partey. We just want to see him fit on that pitch playing because when he is playing, he is one of the best players in the league.”
AFTV Media is currently in Ghana ahead of the watch party for the Premier League game between Arsenal and West Ham United on Sunday, February 11. The company is preparing for the event and is looking forward to seeing Partey back in action for the Gunners.
