Takoradi-based TV host Michael Osei, known as Nana Yaw Osei Tenkorang, was found dead in his room in Takoradi. Osei was expected to start work early on Monday, February 5, but did not show up. Concerns arose when he did not answer his phone despite numerous attempts.
Upon further investigation, it was found that his home gates were secured, yet the phone continued to ring. With the help of other tenants, his room was broken into, and he was found motionless on his bed. Efforts were made to get him to the hospital, but he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Osei, 35 years old, was a fourth-year Public Relations student at Islamic University. He was well-known for his experience in the media industry, having worked with various local media outlets in Koforidua, including Starr TV.
A close friend, Kwaku Nkansah Obrempon, expressed deep sorrow at Osei’s sudden demise and urged everyone affected to keep the family in their thoughts and prayers as they mourn him.
