Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has called on the people of the Northern region to throw their support behind former President John Mahama in the upcoming 2024 general elections.
Kwetey made this appeal during the second day of Mahama’s ‘Building Ghana Tour’ in the Northern Region. He urged voters to carefully consider candidates who genuinely prioritize their welfare, regardless of their location.
Kwetey also emphasized the importance of pride in affiliation with the NDC. He highlighted the trust and reliability of John Mahama as a leader, stating that he has delivered on promises such as fixing the dumsor power crisis.
In a direct comparison, Kwetey made it clear that the other son from the Northern Region cannot be trusted, and thus, it is the responsibility of the people to ensure that the trusted son, John Mahama, rises again to leadership in the country.
The message from the General Secretary serves as a rallying call for the people of the Northern region to throw their weight behind John Mahama in preparation for the 2024 general elections.
