NEIP CEO blames defeat on “fake” album

The CEO of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, has accepted defeat in the recent election.

However, he expressed that he had anticipated the loss, as the voters were largely family and friends of the current Member of Parliament.

On his Facebook page, he wrote, “Please don’t blame my Asante Akyem Central People oooo. They want me paa but the People in the Album 3ne as3m no. Family and Friends one but I decided to run on it so I have accepted the Consequences.”

Ofosu Nkansah received 213 votes, while his opponent, Kwame Anyimadu Antwi, received 374 votes.

This is the second time that Kofi Ofosu Nkansah has lost in the contest.
