Full list of ministers axed in Akufo-Addo’s reshuffle

The President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo, has officially announced a shake-up in the government, which confirms the rumors that have been circulating. This shake-up involves a series of changes, including the removal of certain Ministers, reassignments, and the appointment of new officials.

In a press statement from the Jubilee House, it was disclosed that Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta is among the officials who have been removed from their positions. He will be replaced by Mohammed Amin Adam.

Other notable figures who have been relieved of their duties include Health Minister Kwaku Agyemang Manu, Road Minister Kwame Amoako-Atta, and Sanitation Minister Freda Prempeh, among others.

The nominations for the affected positions have been referred to the Appointments Committee by the Speaker of Parliament.

In addition to the changes in the Ministers, there have also been Deputy Ministers who have been removed from their positions, such as Deputy Fisheries and Aquaculture Development Minister Moses Anim, Deputy Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development Minister Collins Ntim Aboagye, and others.

The full list of those affected by the shake-up has been disclosed, which also includes positions such as Gender, Children and Social Protection, Oti Region, Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, Roads and Highways, Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development, Tourism, Arts and Culture, and Education Minister.
