Director Banini Jnr, the creative mind behind the smash hit “Jejereje” by Stonebwoy, is basking in the success of the music video. The song has rapidly gained popularity in the music industry and has become a viral sensation since its release.
With the video’s increasing fame, it is already being considered a strong contender for the “Best Music Video of the Year” at the upcoming 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA). In an exclusive interview on Channel One TV’s “The Chat” entertainment talk show with Ekow Koomson, Banini expressed his joy and pride in the project.
“I’m proud of the video, I’m proud to have created something that is going viral,” he shared during the interview. Banini discussed his journey as a music video director, highlighting his diverse background that started with hands-on experience and was further honed through online resources and his time at the Ghallywood Academy.
Apart from his work with Stonebwoy, Banini has also collaborated with other notable Ghanaian artists like Fameye, as well as international stars such as Burna Boy and Buju Banton. His portfolio continues to grow, showcasing his talent and unique creative vision.
