Renowned musician and rapper Michael Owusu Addo, popularly known as Sarkodie, has thrown his weight behind Guru for President of the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) at the University of Ghana.
During his performance at the Pent Hall Week Artiste Night on Friday, May 24, 2024, Sarkodie took the opportunity to rally support for Guru, urging the student body to vote for him.
Sarkodie emphasized that Guru’s leadership would contribute to the improvement of the school and enhance the prospects of creatives within the institution.
“If you want me to come here again, then make Guru the President of the SRC,” Sarkodie stated, expressing confidence in Guru’s ability to lead the student body effectively.
The “Pooley” rapper aims to follow in the footsteps of Samini, who previously led the SRC at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
