Ghanaian rapper Kwesi Arthur has made it clear that he considers himself a global artist and believes that in order to maintain a global influence, he must venture beyond the borders of Ghana.
Addressing rumors that he had left the music scene and moved to the United States, Kwesi Arthur clarified that he has not relocated but rather, he sees himself as a global individual. He revealed that there have been occasions when he has spent extended periods in London without anyone knowing, working on music and collaborating with other producers.
“I didn’t relocate. I am somebody who sees himself as a global individual. There have been periods when I’ve been in London for like 2 months and no one knows. I’ve been doing this often but I think this one leaked and people are making a fuss about it. It is rather unfortunate,” Kwesi Arthur shared during an interview on Accra-based 3 Music.
Despite the speculations surrounding his whereabouts, Kwesi Arthur reassured his fans that he has been consistently working on music and collaborating with other artists even during his time abroad.
