People talking about disunity among gospel musicians don’t read their Bible – Perez Musik

Gospel musician Perez Musik has debunked claims of disunity among gospel musicians, stating that the true essence among them is diversity.

In an interview with GhanaWeb, Perez explained that just like the apostles who went their separate ways after meeting Jesus Christ, gospel musicians are meant to reach different audiences at different times and in different places.

He emphasized, “If they say that, then they’ve not really read their Bible. Yes. Because even the apostles, even after they were done with Jesus Christ, they didn’t come together to start a church or start a ministry together. Everybody went their way.”

Perez made these remarks at the third edition of the Made by Grace concert at the Accra International Conference Centre on November 3, 2024. Known for songs such as “Hewale Lalaa, Blema Tesaa, Majieo Yi, Kaafo, and Walatse,” Perez Musik continues to spread his message through his music.

By recognizing and respecting the diversity among gospel musicians, Perez believes that there is no division but rather a variety of approaches to reach different audiences. This perspective challenges the common narrative of disunity within the gospel music industry.
