The Telecel Ghana Music Awards () has recently announced the nominees for new categories that have been added to the prestigious awards ceremony. The PRO of Charterhouse, the organizers of the event, mentioned that these new categories underwent a thorough review process to ensure accuracy before being unveiled.
On April 15, Charterhouse revealed the nominations for three highly anticipated categories: Producer of the Year, Best Video Director, and Audio Engineer of the Year. The Unsung Artiste of the Year was also announced in early April.
Among the nominees for Producer of the Year are six talented producers, including Kuami Eugene and Killbeatz, who are competing for the award that recognizes a producer’s hit songs in the previous year.
Additionally, some of Ghana’s top directors, who have worked with artists like Black Sherif, Stonewboy, and Kuami Eugene, are in the running for the Best Director Awards.
