Atongo Zimba, a traditional music artist, recently shared the remarkable benefits he has experienced from playing the traditional African instrument known as the ‘kologo’.

During an interview on E Vibes with Becky, he described the instrument as his ‘passport’, enabling him to travel throughout Africa without official documentation.

Zimba proudly revealed that he personally crafted the instrument, drawing on the skills passed down to him by his grandfather, who was also a skilled instrument maker.

He emphasized the significance of the ‘kologo’ in his life, stating, “This instrument is my signature. This is my ‘passport’. This is what I took around Africa with no passport.”
