Ghanaian artist King Promise has set the record straight about a recent video that sparked rumors in the entertainment industry. In an interview on Daybreak Hitz with Doreen Avio, he revealed that the video was actually a real wedding ceremony, not just a music video shoot as many had speculated.
“I invested a lot of effort and money into the production because it was a genuine marriage ceremony,” King Promise explained. He emphasized that it was a true African ceremony and questioned whether they would waste money on something like that.
The ceremony was kept private, with only a select group of family members and loved ones in attendance. However, King Promise hinted that there might be a larger wedding celebration in the future.
While the online videos featuring celebrities like Sarkodie, Dancegod Lloyd, and Joey B generated buzz and speculation, King Promise reassured his fans that he would announce his marriage intentions in due time. He also made it clear that he values his privacy and prefers to keep personal matters private.
As for future announcements, King Promise hinted, “Everything will unveil itself very soon. Rest assured I’ll unveil it but my private stuff remains private.”
