The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has uncovered unauthorized electricity tapping at the now-demolished “Fantasy Dome,” which was managed by Fantasy Entertainment at the Accra Trade Fair site.

ECG made this discovery during the recent demolition of the facility and has demanded a report from the Fantasy Dome management within 48 hours.

According to the Revenue Protection Division of ECG, the Fantasy Dome owners must rectify their power connection status within the given timeframe, or they may face criminal charges.

The demolition of the Fantasy Dome took place to facilitate the completion of the ongoing Ghana International Trade Fair Center Development Project by the Ghana Trade Fair Company Limited.

Additionally, the CEO of Fantasy Entertainment, Leslie Quaynor, claimed to have served a court order to stop the demolition, but the Trade Fair Company Limited refuted this claim, stating that no legal processes were initiated on the day of the demolition.
