Ghanaian musician, Amerado, has finally spoken out about the rumors surrounding his refusal to feature on a song by Barima Sidney.
In an interview with Kwame Dadzie on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z, Amerado revealed that his decision to collaborate on a song is based on inspiration.
He explained that if he doesn’t feel inspired by a particular song, he won’t agree to feature on it, using Barima Sidney’s song as an example.
Amerado mentioned that although he liked the song Barima Sidney sent him, he felt it wasn’t the right fit for him, leading to his decision not to do a feature.
However, he did mention that he would be open to working with Barima Sidney in the future if the right opportunity arises.
On the other hand, Amerado shared that he recently collaborated with gospel musician Joyce Blessing on a remix of her song “Overdo” because he felt a connection to the music.
He further emphasized his willingness to collaborate with artists who resonate with his style and vision.
Amerado, who recently featured on Shatta Wale’s song “Blessings,” has also worked with other artists such as Sista Afia, Rap Fada, and King Paluta. Currently, he has released a new EP titled ‘The Gold Coin.’
