VIDEO: See celebrities who attended Lilwin’s sold-out “A Country Called Ghana” movie premiere

The highly-anticipated premiere of Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lilwin, was a huge success as all the seats were sold out for his movie “A Country Called Ghana”.

The star-studded event took place at the National Theatre on Friday, May 17, 2024, and brought together a dazzling array of Ghanaian and Nigerian celebrities.

Among the attendees were Medikal, Kalybos, Guru, and Akrobeto, adding to the glamour of the night. Other well-known personalities such as Awilo Sharp Sharp, Ahuofe Patri, David Osei, D Cryme, and Kofi Akpaloo, the leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana [LPG], also graced the occasion.

The event was truly spectacular with the presence of these A-listers. Attendees who shared their thoughts with GhanaWeekend after the premiere applauded Lilwin for hosting such a successful event.

Directed by Fiifi Gha bin and produced by Lilwin, “A Country Called Ghana” is a collaboration between Ghana and Nigeria. The movie features legendary actors from Africa including Ramsey Nouah, Charles Awurum, Victor Osuagwu (Awilo Sharp Sharp), PAA George, Sweet Mimi, and Lilwin himself.

For those who missed the premiere at the National Theatre, the movie will continue its premieres at the KNUST CCB Auditorium in Kumasi on May 25 and the final premiere at the Eubsett Hotel in Sunyani on June 1, 2024.
