Fans of the popular animated series Totally Spies were devastated when the show ended back in 2014.
However, in exciting news for fans of the show, it was recently announced that Totally Spies will be returning for a seventh season in April 2023, with even more adventures in store.
The new season will follow secret agents Sam, Clover, and Alex as they embark on a new journey in a different city to take on a fresh group of villains.
The show’s producers have promised that the new season will stay true to the original elements that made Totally Spies so beloved, while also updating it for a new audience facing modern challenges.
Warner Bros. Discovery has picked up the show for its new season, which premiered in France in May 2024 and is currently airing.
The season is expected to have 26 episodes, each running for about 22 minutes. It is set to premiere on Cartoon Network in the United States later in 2024.
And the good news doesn’t stop there – a new eighth season of the show has also been ordered by Warner Bros. Discovery and French kids network Gulli.
While the English voice cast for the new season has not been announced yet, fans are hoping that the network will bring back the original voices that made the show so iconic.
The original cast included Andrea Baker as Clover, Jennifer Hale as Sam, and Katie Leigh and Katie Griffin as Alex, among others.
For those unfamiliar with the show, Totally Spies follows three Beverly Hills teenagers who are members of the World Organization of Human Protection and work under the direction of Jerry.
The trio must navigate their personal lives, school responsibilities, and their work as super-spies.
