Award-winning Ghanaian media personality, Naa Ashorkor, is set to make her directorial debut with the upcoming production of “The Legend of Aku Sika,” a play by Prof Martin Owusu.
This exciting collaboration between Image Bureau, April Communications, and the National Theatre is scheduled to take place on June 1st, 2nd, 8th, and 9th at the National Theatre in honor of Professor Owusu.
In a recent interview on Joy Fm, George Quaye announced, “Naa Ashorkor will make her directorial debut for the first time. It is in reference to Prof Martin Owusu’s epic.
The play, a collaboration between Image Bureau, April Communications, and the National Theatre.” This marks a significant milestone for Naa Ashorkor as she brings her creative vision to life on stage.
Adomaa Adjeman will be taking on the role of Aku Sika, a character created by Professor Owusu. George Quaye commended Ashorkor’s expertise and passion, promising a fresh perspective to the production that blends tradition with innovation.
