Ghanaian veteran actor Fred Amugi has opened up about facing rejection in the movie industry due to his age.
The 75-year-old actor, known for his numerous contributions to the Ghanaian film industry, shared that he has been turned down for roles because producers believed he was too old.
Despite the setbacks, Amugi remains undeterred and continues to pursue his passion for acting.
He revealed that he is currently working on two film projects, including one titled “The Fisherman,” a foreign-style film shot in Ghana, and another called “Yen Ara.”
In a recent interview with Graphic Showbiz, Amugi emphasized the importance of humility and discipline for actors looking to improve their craft.
He highlighted the significance of learning from life experiences and observing how others live to cultivate these essential qualities.
