Anuku explained that he was immersing himself in the environment to perfect his performance and get into character. He refuted rumors of being on drugs or sick, emphasizing that he was very sane despite the portrayal in the video.

The actor expressed his heartbreak over the situation, revealing that the repercussions of the video were severe. He lost friends, job offers, income, and job opportunities.

Reflecting on the ordeal, Anuku shared, “I lost friends, producers no longer contacted me for jobs. I lost a lot of money, I lost jobs, and I was jobless. People did not care about me. It was God who directed my footsteps to a good soul.”
