One of Ghana’s legendary actresses, Grace Omaboe, popularly known as Maame Dokono, was recently honored at the prestigious 2024 Ghana Women’s Awards ceremony.
The event, which took place on Sunday, October 6 at the Accra International Conference Centre [AICC], celebrated Maame Dokono’s incredible contribution to the Ghanaian entertainment industry over the span of five decades.
Maame Dokono has captivated audiences with her exceptional acting skills in numerous movies and drama performances.
She became a household name as the face of Ghana’s beloved television drama series, Akan Drama, and as the lead actress of the renowned Obra Drama Group. Additionally, Maame Dokono has showcased her talent in over 50 movies throughout her illustrious career.
Her dedication to her craft and undeniable talent have solidified her status as an icon in the Ghanaian entertainment scene.
