Ghanaian actor and NDC supporter, Clement Bonney, popularly known as Mr. Beautiful, recently made headlines after revealing the reason behind his departure from social media.

According to him, the harsh and critical nature of the comments and insults directed at him for supporting former President John Mahama forced him to take a break from social media.

Mr. Beautiful, who openly declared John Mahama as the winner of the 2016 elections, faced backlash and criticism when the results turned out differently.

He shared that people would visit his social media pages just to insult and attack him for his political affiliations.

After an absence of eight years from social media, Mr. Beautiful decided to rejoin and has since received uplifting messages and apologies from fans who once insulted him.

He recounted a touching apology from a lady in Takoradi who expressed regret for disrespecting him due to his political stance.

Despite the challenges he faced, Mr. Beautiful remains dedicated to supporting the NDC presidential candidate.

He recently released a song titled “The Gamechanger” in support of John Mahama and is currently on a radio tour promoting the song, which explains the 24-hour economy policy.

It is heartening to see Mr. Beautiful receive recognition and support for his beliefs, despite the obstacles he faced on social media.
