Over 250 models, including female, male, and children, gathered at the African Regent Hotel in Accra for the Rhythms On Da Runway Model Casting on Sunday, October 6. This event, organized by Nineteen57 Events, offered aspiring models the chance to advance their careers.
After a rigorous selection process, 55 models were chosen to participate in the main event scheduled for November 30 at the Grand Arena. These models will receive grooming and preparation in the weeks leading up to the show, where they will be joined by various celebrities for a night of fashion, music, and cultural celebration.
Kofi Okyere Darko, the visionary behind the event, expressed his satisfaction with the talent on display and highlighted the importance of nurturing and developing the unique abilities of each model.
Judges, including renowned Video Director Nana Asihene, emphasized the importance of professionalism, poise, and the ability to showcase designer garments.
Producer and choreographer, Dionne Slash Gavin, assured that the selected models would receive top-notch grooming to excel at the main event.
The theme for this year’s Rhythms On Da Runway is ‘Kente Edition’, promising an evening of unforgettable fashion and entertainment.
