Tragedy struck on the set of the upcoming Marvel series “Wonder Man” as a crew member lost his life in an accident.
The crew member, 41-year-old Juan Carlos Osorio, fell from the rafters and tragically passed away.
The LA County Medical Examiner’s office confirmed the identity of the deceased. The incident occurred at the address for CBS Radford Studios in Studio City, California.
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that the death was not due to any foul play and that the investigation is ongoing.
Marvel Studios expressed their condolences to the family and friends of the deceased crew member and pledged support for the investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
“Wonder Man” was set to star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and was scheduled to be streamed on Disney+, although it currently does not have a release date.
The tragic accident has brought a somber atmosphere to the production of the Marvel series.
