While the primary was highly successful, there was an incident that halted voting when a delegate’s name was missing from the voter album. It took the intervention of the police to bring the situation under control.

In his victory speech, Mr Tetteh thanked his supporters and his campaign team for their hard work, calling for unity in the party and warning his supporters against wild celebrations that have the potential to affect party unity.

Earlier on, the National Chairman of the party, Mr Stephen Ntim, visited the voting centre to have first-hand information on how voting was conducted.
