‘Ye Tali Mu’ with Shatta has impacted my career more than ‘Eyeball’ with Samini’- Ras Kuuku

Ghanaian reggae and dancehall sensation, Ras Kuuku, has opened up about his favorite collaboration of all time, ‘Ye Tali Mu’, which he believes to be the biggest dancehall hit in Ghana.

During an interview on Daybreak Hitz with DJ Slim, Ras Kuuku highlighted the significant impact that ‘Ye Tali Mu’ has had on his music career. The track features the iconic Shatta Wale and is celebrated as a groundbreaking dancehall anthem in Ghana.

Ras Kuuku expressed his admiration for the song, stating, “I’ve always said ‘Ye Tali Mu’ is the biggest dancehall song to come out from Ghana. When it comes to dancehall, Ghana or outside Ghana, it is one of the songs that projected reggae and dancehall in Ghana.”

While discussing his collaboration with fellow artist Samini on ‘Eyeball’, Ras Kuuku acknowledged the quality of the track but emphasized that ‘Ye Tali Mu’ played a pivotal role in shaping his musical journey. He remarked, “But the impact the ‘Ye Tali Mu’ did for me in my music journey, my ’Eyeball’ song cannot compare; not even 2%.”

In addition to these collaborations, Ras Kuuku has worked with a variety of artists in the music industry, including MOGMusic, Broda Sammy, Kwesi Amewuga, the late Ebony, Kofi Kinaata, and Stonebwoy.
