Who was Garrison Brown?
Robert Garrison Brown, born on April 10, 1998, was the son of Kody and Janelle Brown from Sister Wives. He was Kody’s eighth child and Janelle’s fourth, and often appeared on the family’s reality show documenting their polygamist lifestyle. Despite his parent’s divorce in 2023, Garrison continued to lead his own life.
Garrison enlisted in the Nevada National Guard in 2015 and completed basic training in 2016. By 2021, he had distanced himself from his family and was living in Arizona, not maintaining contact with his father.
The Tragic Passing of Garrison Brown
On March 5, 2024, authorities in Flagstaff responded to a call at Garrison’s residence where they found him deceased from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. His brother Gabriel was the one who made the heartbreaking discovery.
Garrison, who had recently adopted a cat just days before his passing, was only 25 years old at the time of his death.

Janelle Brown, Kody Brown’s second wife and a prominent figure on Sister Wives, was married to Kody from 1993 to 2022, and together they have six children. Recently, in February 2024, Janelle shared on Instagram that she had undergone surgery to remove two lumps from her face following a carcinoma diagnosis.
