Zac Brown and his now former wife, Kelly Yazdi, are currently embroiled in a public legal battle following the end of their four-month marriage in December 2023.
Zac Brown, best known as the lead singer of the Zac Brown Band, and Kelly Yazdi split shortly after their wedding, which took place in Georgia in August 2023.
Kelly Yazdi, who is of Iranian and Scandinavian descent, is a professional stuntwoman with a passion for action and stunts. She has appeared in various TV shows and movies, and also holds four IUSA World Records in speargun fishing.
The couple had been engaged for about a year before getting married, but trouble arose soon after. Fans speculated about trouble in paradise when Kelly deactivated her Instagram account and removed all photos of Zac.
After four months of marriage, the couple released a joint statement announcing their divorce. However, the drama did not end there. Zac filed a lawsuit against Kelly over a social media post that allegedly broke a confidentiality agreement and negatively impacted his public image.
In response, Kelly stated that she “will not be silenced” and plans to defend herself in court. She accused Zac of using his resources to silence her and to portray himself as a victim in their divorce.
This is not the first time Zac Brown has gone through a divorce. He was previously married to jewelry designer Shelly Brown, with whom he shares five children. Despite their divorce in 2018, the two still co-parent their children.
