Wanda Williams continues to be a strong support for Wendy Williams following her absence from television.
Here’s everything you need to know about Wanda and her connection with The Wendy Williams Show host.
Who is Wendy Williams’ sister, Wanda?
Wanda Williams is Wendy Williams’ only sister.
Unlike most of their family, Wanda has largely stayed out of the limelight.
In her professional life, she has worked as an attorney. Wanda is currently an advocate for kids who are part of the child welfare system in Florida.
As Wendy’s older sister, Wanda has become one of her staunchest supporters.
Wanda expressed concern in a preview for the Lifetime documentary Where Is Wendy Williams as she voiced frustration over not being able to physically offer support to her sister, who is checked into a treatment facility for “cognitive issues” with no access to the outside world, including her family.
“We all make choices in life. We all go through our challenges. She’s still a person,” Wanda said.
“We are her family, and you tell me that I’m not capable of taking care of my sister. What would you do? What should I do?”
Does Wendy Williams have any other siblings?
Aside from Wanda, Wendy Williams has one more sibling, a brother named Tommy, who works as a personal trainer.
The pair previously feuded after their mother Shirley’s funeral in 2020, but they reportedly reunited after they were spotted riding a boat in Miami, Florida, together in April 2023.
“Family’s everything, believe that,” Tommy told his followers on Instagram at the time.
“We gonna be alright. Thanks for the prayers and well wishes.”
How can I watch Where Is Wendy Williams?
Where Is Wendy Williams? is a two-part series that will air on Lifetime over two days. Part one premieres on Saturday, February 24, at 8 PM ET. Part two will air on Sunday, February 25 in the same timeslot.
According to a press release, the documentary will show “a raw, honest and unfiltered reality of Wendy’s life after she was placed under financial guardianship, shedding light on the vulnerabilities that has turned Wendy into the Hot Topic herself.
“Suffering mental and physical issues, Wendy’s delicate state of mind, erratic behaviour and declining health were all captured by the cameras.”
Those who have cut the cord can still watch the series via services like YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, and Sling TV.
