Ryan Clark grabbed the headlines on Sunday, February 18, 2024, following the expiration of the ex-football star’s ESPN contract.

Now, eyes are on the broadcasting free agent’s next moves, and whether his wife, Yonka Clark, will continue to support her NFL husband.

Who is Ryan Clark’s wife, Yonka?

Ryan Clark and Yonka first met at the Archbishop Shaw High School graduation picnic in 1997. Their initial impression of each other was not positive.

Ryan thought Yonka, originally from Ama, Louisiana, was the “meanest” woman he had ever encountered, while Yonka believed Ryan to be an “arrogant” football player. Both later fell in love, got married in 2004, and together, they have three children.

Yonka is not the average Wag, as she prefers to be known for her own identity rather than as the wife of an NFL star. She’s an advocate of living a private life and facilitates this by maintaining a private Instagram account.

Away from her role as a mother and wife, Yonka is passionate about natural products and skincare and is exploring her interest in this area as her children grow.
