Yungeen Ace, the popular rapper known for hits like Who I Smoke and Opps, was recently arrested in Florida on April 15, 2024.
The rapper, whose real name is Keyanta Bullard, rose to fame with his unique style and catchy tunes. He attended the BET Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta in 2022 and released his most recent album, Forgotten Star, on March 29, 2024.
The arrest came after Yungeen Ace and five others were stopped by police in a rented SUV that failed to stop at an intersection. Upon search, seven loaded guns were found in the vehicle, three of which were in the rapper’s possession.
This led to his arrest on charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, a violation of his probation terms. Previously, Yungeen Ace had been sentenced to probation for an accessory charge in 2017.
In a tragic turn of events, Yungeen Ace survived a drive-by shooting in 2018 that claimed the lives of three individuals, including his younger brother, Trevon.
The rapper was critically injured after being shot eight times but managed to recover and was released from the hospital a few days later.
Yungeen Ace’s life has been filled with both triumph and tragedy, and his recent arrest adds another chapter to his tumultuous journey.
