Mauricio Pochettino has made a name for himself as a successful football manager, with the support of his wife, Karina, by his side.
The couple first met in 1991 at a nightclub and got married three years later. They have been married for 30 years and have two sons together.
Their eldest son, Maurizio, followed in his father’s footsteps and pursued a career in professional football.
He joined the academy of Southampton during his father’s tenure as manager and later moved to Tottenham Hotspur. Currently, Maurizio plays for Primera Federación club Gimnàstic de Tarragona.
Sebastiano, the couple’s younger son, chose a different path and studied sports and exercise science. He now works as a first-team fitness coach at Paris Saint-Germain.
Despite Mauricio’s success on the field, he once banned Karina from attending matches at White Heart Lane due to his superstitions.
However, Karina continued to support her husband from home and always had her say about the games after they finished.
