Kim Kardashian has recently filed a restraining order against an alleged celebrity stalker named Melvin Jeffery Conley.
The 32-year-old man has a history of targeting celebrities and has now set his sights on the reality TV star.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, Kim expressed in court that Conley’s actions have caused her ‘worry, concern, and severe emotional distress’.
This incident follows an attempted intrusion into Kim’s Malibu home last month, as well as threats from Conley indicating that he wanted to contact Kim and her children.
Conley had previously targeted Kim’s co-star Emma Roberts, who stars with her in the new Netflix show “Calabas”.
Roberts received a chilling phone call from Conley, who had entered her home using her landline. As a result, Roberts and her infant son now have a five-year restraining order against Conley.
Kim’s restraining order request also revealed that Conley attempted to make contact with Kim at her mother Kris Jenner’s house, claiming to be her “long-time manager”.
Security at the Kardashian residence prevented Conley from jumping the fence and meeting Kim. It is clear that Conley is willing to go to extreme lengths to reach the TV star, as the location of her home is undisclosed.
This is not the first time Kim has dealt with stalkers. She has previously had men stalking her for months, as well as receiving abusive letters and death threats.
Conley is now one of the alleged stalkers who may face Kim in court. The successful beauty mogul and aspiring lawyer is taking the necessary steps to protect herself and her family from those who seek to harm her.
